	Mechatronic enters the computer hardware market in 1987 by signing an agreement with OKI EUROPE LTD for the distribution of Oki printers and facsimile products. Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd, the company that gave rise to OKI Printing Solutions, was established in 1881. Oki Electric provided - and still provides to this day - quality products, technologies and solutions for telecommunication, information systems and electronic devices. It was the first telecommunications manufacturer in Japan. Today, Oki Electric has consolidated annual revenue of $6.5 billion and employs 21,000 people worldwide. Oki Electric manufactures multi-media networks, voice over internet protocol, key telephone systems, radio network systems, optical components, LSIs for mobile communications, microcomputers, Bluetooth and production programmable memories.
	In 1988, Mechatronic signs a distribution agreement with Microsoft Corporation (with USA directly at the time). Microsoft Corporation a leader in Software Development was founded in 1975 by Bill Gates and Paul Allen, who saw the potential to turn a hobbyist’s toy into something more. They sold the first software language program, called BASIC, for the Micro Instrumentation and Telemetry Systems (MITS) Altair 8800, the first "personal computer." BASIC, and the many software programs that followed from Microsoft developers and partners, helped spark a technology revolution that has transformed how we do business, how we live, and how we learn. Currently, MSI is qualified as a Microsoft Certified Partner in the competencies of Advanced Infrastructure Solutions and Microsoft Business Solutions, as well as a Microsoft Large Account Reseller.
	With the liberalization of the Cyprus Telecommunications market in 1990, Mechatronic becomes the distributor of Nortel Networks (at the time called Northern Telecom) telecommunication systems.
